A confident start for young learners
VIPER Cadets is the VIPERs Academy experience for students in grades 1–2. Cadets are beginning an exciting stage of independence, friendship, curiosity, and confidence—and we create an after-school environment where they can feel welcomed, supported, active, and proud of who they are becoming.
Welcome to the Cadets
Learn, play, and grow with confidence
VIPER Cadets gives younger elementary students a positive place to transition after the school day. Through guided routines, caring encouragement, hands-on activities, movement, creativity, and friendship, Cadets can build skills while having fun.
We understand that students in grades 1–2 need a balance of structure and choice. They need time to settle in, recharge, move their bodies, make connections, explore new ideas, and feel successful. Activities are designed to be age-appropriate, engaging, and supportive.
Age-appropriate programs for younger children commonly combine individual attention, simple-rule games, quiet and active spaces, outdoor experiences, and activities based on each child’s level of development.[afterschoolalliance][law.cornell][elc-pa]
