Discover interests. Build skills. Have fun.
At VIPERs Academy, children have opportunities to explore new interests, build confidence, develop practical skills, and discover what they enjoy.
Our clubs and enrichment experiences are designed to bring the VIPERs Academy pillars to life: Learn, Play, Lead, and Grow. Through hands-on activities, creative projects, movement, teamwork, and leadership opportunities, VIPERs can have fun while building skills that support them in and beyond the classroom.
More than an after-school program
VIPERs Academy is designed to be a place where children can try new things, ask questions, create, move, connect, and grow.
Clubs and enrichment activities may change throughout the year based on children’s interests, age groups, available space, staffing, seasonal themes, community partnerships, and program needs. This gives children opportunities to explore a variety of experiences while keeping the program fresh, engaging, and age-appropriate.
Pennsylvania child-care rules call for activities that support children’s skills, social competence, and self-esteem, while recognizing each child as an individual and providing some choice of activities. They also call for play materials that fit children’s ages, developmental needs, and interests.pacodeandbulletin+1
